The data modelling team are the owners of the Enterprise Data Modelling capability which includes:Creation of the NAB Enterprise Logical Data ModelBusiness Ownership of the Erwin suite of data modelling toolsCreation of Principles, Standards and Guidelines for data modellingOur people are customer obsessed. Our mindset fosters innovation and creates strong, lasting customer relationships as we strive to be the most customer centric company in Australia and New Zealand.In this Engineering Manager role you will be doubling down on customer obsession by keeping it simple.Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to take ownership of:Undertaking data modelling, mapping and related activitiesLeading and coordinating resources required to implement and deliver strategic programs of workSupporting enterprise conformance productionDeveloping and implementing data modelling principles and processesDeveloping and implementing data asset governance processes, ensuring adherence to standardsProviding leadership to project and engineering teams on matters of modelling and data architectureProviding advice to internal data governance and architecture forum.Providing consultancy and education to the enterprise in relation to data conformance and modelling.We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:Experience in Data Modelling, its associated practices, processes and knowledge along with some experience leading a team of Data ModellersDemonstrated record of building trusted relationships with business partners and key stakeholdersExperience in large enterprises and financial services firmsProficiency and experience with Erwin, IBM or FSDM data modelsResults driven, analytical and creative thinking and problem solvingA calm demeanour in the face of adversity, with a resilience to setbacksPrior experience working in an agile squad environmentTertiary qualification or equivalent in information systems, mathematics, science or engineering; a post graduate qualification is also a nice to haveExperience with Databricks is a nice to have.A diverse and inclusive workplace works better for everyoneWe know that our people make us who we are.
