Creekside K-9 College opened in 2006 as a campus of Caroline Springs College. The college now caters for 1,275 students from Prep to Year 9 and also incorporates a Kindergarten and a Maternal Health Unit to support the community and each family on their learning journey. This is a commitment to the community of Caroline Springs to provide a holistic approach to childhood development, growth and education. Role
- Attendance requirement for this position.
- Perform tasks in accordance with guidelines, accepted practice and school policy under supervision and direction. May include coordination of other education support staff within the work area or educational program.
- Support the educational services provided to students, without performing teacher duties as defined in the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (Vic).
- Supervise students individually or in small groups up to four in controlled circumstances, with responsibility retained by a teacher.
- Certification and/or qualifications of up to three years may be required at this level.
- Specific support tasks to achieve outcomes, such as ensuring data is properly maintained or coordinating a work area under the direction of the principal or manager.
- Assist teachers within an educational program by undertaking specific support tasks or coordinating the support function.
- Perform supervised health and wellbeing support tasks, medical intervention support tasks or other specialised student/teacher support roles as required, with appropriate qualifications and training.
- Execute technical tasks that require sound knowledge of basic technical and/or scientific principles, such as routine technical support in libraries, science and information technology.
