Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our multidisciplinary team in Country Western Australia. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a dynamic environment, delivering patient care under the direct supervision of a Nurse or Midwife.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team, and demonstrate a strong commitment to providing high-quality care to patients from diverse backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver patient care under the direct supervision, delegation, and guidance of a Nurse or Midwife.

">
* Perform primary functions as defined in WA Health MP 0080/18 Assistant in Nursing Policy and scope of practice documents - Assistant in Nursing Duties Lists (Nursing Setting or Maternity Setting).

">
* Provide evidence of enrolment in an approved course or provide a copy of their Cert 111 In Health Services Assistance-Acute Care or Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or Certificate III Aged Care (superseded by Certificate III in Individual Support-Aged Care in 2015).

Requirements

To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).

Applicants must also meet the following requirements:

1. Hold a current First Aid certificate and be willing to obtain any necessary qualifications.

">
2. Have a good understanding of healthcare principles and practices.

">
3. Be able to work effectively in a team environment.

">
4. Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

">
5. Be able to lift and move patients safely and efficiently.

">
6. Be physically fit and able to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
