You'll manage the full loan process from submission to settlement, handling all credit-critical requirementson behalf of the broker.
This includes assisting in the preparation, submission and correction of applications, liaising with lenders, and ensuring all compliance and documentation standards are met.
Ideally this would fit a junior broker looking to hone their skills before taking on clients full time or a senior loan processor/client service manager who knows how to handle anything thrown at them.This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term mortgage broking career and looking for invaluable experience.
You'll gain hands-on practice, develop deep industry knowledge, and be mentored by some of the best in the business—making it the perfect stepping stone to becoming a successful broker yourself.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the end-to-end mortgage process from loan submission to settlement.Handle all credit-critical tasks, including document verification, compliance checks, and lender-specific policy requirements.Provide guidance and support to the team preparing application submissions including but not limited to, credit recommendation, policy verification and servicing.Handle a large volume of clients whilst maintaining SLA's.Liaise with brokers, clients, and lenders to ensure transparency and alignment through the application journey.Proactively manage timelines, finance due dates, and settlement milestones without supervision.Identify and resolve application discrepancies, follow up on missing information, and autonomously handle all client and credit enquiries once a strategy has been set.Maintain consistent, proactive communication with clients throughout their journey.About YouYou're a confident and experienced mortgage professional who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
You bring a strong background in home loan credit policy and/or loan processing, or you're a broker looking for a business to give you a foundational understanding and guidance to help you achieve and you're ready to take the next step in your career.You'll bring:2–3+ years of experience in a client service, loan processing, or broking role.Experienced in borrowing capacity, lender servicing, income verification and calculation.Strong knowledge of the mortgage process and credit policy across a wide range of lenders.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and a passion for helping clients succeed.Experience with platforms like ApplyOnline, FLEX/BrokerEngine, HubSpot or similar (expected).
