BusBiz has been a family-owned business for 60 years. Our Head Office and largest depot is located in Swan Hill, operating over 280 vehicles throughout Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia, providing a vast range of passenger services. This position is based in our Dubbo depot maintaining vehicles in Dubbo and in the surrounding districts.
Qualifications & experience
* Training in Australian Trade Qualifications or the international equivalent as a Diesel Mechanic - Minimum 3 years' experience.
* Minimum of 3 years diesel mechanic experience is required for this position.
* Experience in maintaining buses and coaches would be advantageous
* Medium Rigid Licence or willingness to obtain is crucial to the role
* Australian citizenship or a current Visa with full working rights is required for this position.
Tasks & responsibilities
* Conduct maintenance of Coaches, Buses, trailers, cars, yard and all equipment.
* Undertake day-to-day coach repair and maintenance activities to ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness.
* Be willing to be available to attend after hours breakdowns and vehicle retrievals, if required.
* The position includes some travelling to conduct maintenance activities.
