Overview
Speech Pathologist, Level 1/2 (Paediatric Focused) – Permanent Full Time
Location: Broken Hill. This position is part of the Far West Local Health District (LHD) and supports paediatric services in rural communities, with potential outreach to towns, schools, and outpatient clinics.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality paediatric (0–17 years) speech pathology assessment and treatment to patients in the Far West LHD, including outreach towns.
Deliver services individually or in groups, face-to-face or virtually, in Health Service facilities, Community Health Centres, schools or clients' homes.

Remuneration: $73,427 – $104,753 + Superannuation

Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor or postgraduate Speech Pathology degree enabling membership of Speech Pathology Australia
Demonstrated evidence-based practice, and ability to provide person/community-centred services to paediatric patients (with potential adult service provision when needed)
Ability to plan, advocate for and coordinate client care independently within a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to ongoing professional development and sharing expertise with colleagues
Ability to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients and families
Knowledge of quality improvement processes
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; proficient with relevant software for patient care and administration
Valid unrestricted driver's licence for use in NSW/Australia
