About the Role:
Seven Point Australian Pork (part of JBS Australia) is the largest protein processing facility, located in Port Wakefield Pork (5550), just 24 km from Balaklava and 60 km from Kadina. We are currently recruiting Packers, Labourers, and Skilled Knife hands, full-time skilled and unskilled opportunities await the right applicants.
Positions are available Monday to Friday, from early morning to afternoon, with a minimum of 38 hours per week, plus reasonable overtime. Weekend and public holiday work is optional when offered.
Responsibilities:
* Promote safety values and participate in a well-developed site safety culture.
* Contribute to a well-organised and friendly team environment.
* Packing retail and wholesale cuts of meat
* Operating specialty equipment such as Line Strappers and Net Loaders
* Opportunity for career advancement and professional Knife Hand training.
* Adhere to all production quality and HACCP requirements.
* Demonstrate commitment through exemplary attendance.
* Skilled Knifehand work, including trimming and boning.
Ordinary Shifts: 6:00 AM – 2:36 PM, 7:00 AM – 3:36 PM, subject to availability.
About You:
A highly motivated self-starter who demonstrates:
* Responsibility and ownership of decisions
* The ability to keep up with production
* Positivity, a good attitude, and clear communication
* A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (there is not local transport)
* The ability to attend and pass a medical with functional and D&A screening
* Strong attendance and a willingness to work 38 hours per week, plus reasonable overtime
