About the role :
As a Bus / Maintenance role at RSL LifeCare, every day you’re empowered to make a meaningful difference to people’s lives. Within our supportive work environment your compassion is valued and your professional development is prioritised. You will have the opportunity to :
* Respond to maintenance requests
* Liaise with contractors and assist residents with minor maintenance repairs
* Demonstrate a customer service mindset when interacting with residents, their families, and visitors
* Assist in wheelchair transport, mail deliveries, and other driving duties

About You :
We are excited to hear from you about this role! We are looking out for :
* Current Light Rigid NSW Drivers License or willingness to obtain
* Physical fitness for loading and unloading wheelchairs on the bus
* Knowledge of correct manual handling procedures
* A sound understanding of aged care and the principles guiding this sector
* Australian Working Rights

It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role.
