Clinical Care Manager
* Key leadership clinical role

* Lead, support and motivate regionally based team which will cover the region between Coffs Harbour and Tweed Heads

* Play a key role in allowing our clients to live at home, for longer!

Employment Type: Full-time (2 days WFH)

Location: Northern Region - Coffs Harbour - Tweed Heads

As the Clinical Care Manager, you will lead and manage the provision of appropriate clinical care to our clients living at home. You will provide direction, support and guidance to our team of Registered Nurses out in the field ensuring they are delivering a person-centred approach, recognising and promoting the client's unique goals and preferences.

Some aspects of your new role will see you:

* Working with Education team colleagues to develop, implement and monitor consistent, best practice policies and procedures across all teams and locations

* Supporting Clinical and Care team members work to embed quality care and clinical governance systems and processes, aligned to the LifeCare Way

* Supporting teams actively participate in care and clinical governance systems in order to meet and maintain accreditation requirements

* Work with the Community Services Managers, Regional Manager and care teams to identify, mitigate and resolve actual or potential risk and ensure lessons learned are shared

* Role-model a culture and approach where clients are the focal point in decision making and the design of care delivery models

* Participate in and contribute to incident management and investigations as required

* Participate in an on-call roster for clinical escalation for evenings and weekends as required

* Demonstrate leadership through effective interaction with nursing and care teams

A bit about you:

* Registration as a registered nurse - no current conditions placed upon registration

* Minimum 5 years' postgraduate clinical experience within health care, aged care, community or other relevant environment

* Experience managing compliance with regulatory standards

* Sound understanding of person-centred approaches to clinical care and support

* Compassion, empathy, and ability to build meaningful relationships across a broad range of stakeholders

* Demonstrated ability to make good decisions which balance commercial outcomes with customer experience, applying consideration to mitigate areas of risk

* Experience in motivating teams, managing performance, and delivering on accountabilities

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Demonstrated understanding of the regulatory environment in Aged Care

* Right to work in Australia

* First Aid and CPR certifications (or willingness to obtain)

* Ideally lives in Coffs Harbour or Tweed Heads

It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role. Additional requirements apply to this role.Clearances must be verified prior to commencing employment with RSL LifeCare.
