What we're looking for:
* Cert III or higher in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (3rd or 4th year apprentices also encouraged to apply)
* Hands-on workshop experience with strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* A high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
* Team player mindset with a positive, calm attitude
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Reliability, punctuality and a solid work ethic
* Full Driver's license (essential)
* Currently residing in South Australia with full and unrestricted working rights
* Knowledge of WHS regulations and a commitment to safety
* Availability to work Saturday mornings (8.00am to 12.00pm)
Your Day to Day:
* Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive systems (engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, brakes, A/C, etc.)
* Perform quality checks, test drives and final inspections
* Communicate clearly with the Store Manager
* Keep accurate records and complete job documentation
* Maintain a clean, organised workspace and care for tools/equipment
* Provide expert mechanical advice and support to the team
* Assist with general workshop duties as required
