We're excited to welcome an Enrolled Nurse to our Outpatients Unit.
The Enrolled Nurse (EN) provides person centred nursing care within a dynamic health environment based on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia - Standard of Practice: Enrolled Nurse. The EN practices under the direct or indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse/Midwife, assisting with the provisions of care as delegated.
The Outpatient Services at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH), Nambour General Hospital (NGH), Caloundra Health Services (CHS) and Gympie Hospital (GYM) aims to provide governance, accountability and management of outpatient services to ensure consistency across the patient care continuum. The Outpatient Services team provides governance and management of the functional space and provides nursing and administrative support to the specialties that provide outpatient care in this area. Speciality clinical services will access the Outpatients to provide outpatient services for their patients. These services work closely together with the Outpatients team to ensure the provision of collaborative integrated outpatient care.
