We are seeking a Fixed term temporary full-time Business Support Officer to join our Northern Region team. This position provides support to three District Offices and performs finance, human resource and administrative functions for the region.
The Essential Requirements For This Role Are
* Experience in financial functions and managing administration functions including experience with the use of financial management systems (SAP would be an advantage)
* Experience in managing and co-ordinating a wide range of account management functions
* Effective written and research skills including the ability to prepare reports and submissions on complex matters
* Demonstrated communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills for liaising with management and staff at all levels, to gain commitments and negotiate service delivery, priorities, deadlines, resources and other relevant issues
* Demonstrated ability to understand and apply legislation, policies and procedures relevant to the position
* Effective interpersonal skills as evidenced by the ability to build successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders with a range of competing interests
* Problem solving and analytical skills for investigating and resolving HR issues, and for improving HR practices and processes

* The incumbent may be required to travel on official business, and the possession of a C class licence is required.
Other Conditions And Requirements
* There may be instances where the incumbent will be required to work hours outside the normal work hours, undertake travel to other locations, or temporarily work from an alternate location.
