Position: Support Worker for Aim Wider Program
Organisation: Community Bridging Services (CBS) Inc.
Location: Port Lincoln
Type: Part-time, Fixed-Term until June 2026 (subject to ongoing funding)
Hours: 22.8 - 30.4 hours per week
About the Role
Work with participants to develop employability skills, personal growth, and improve quality of life within an inclusive environment.
Utilize a strengths-based and person-centered approach to support groups and individuals.
Assist participants in reaching employment goals through feedback and guidance.
Research, develop, and report on project progress.
Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and partners.
Support the establishment of services that promote open employment for people with disabilities.
Deliver presentations and participate in community events confidently.
Coordinate sessions, prepare materials, and support administrative tasks.
Contribute to business development, including planning and grant writing.
Develop tools and resources for project activities and find suitable work experience opportunities for participants.
Participate in meetings with employers, families, and advocates as needed.
Promote inclusion of people with disabilities in community life.
Maintain data and ensure compliance with legislation and standards.
Position Requirements
Current Australian Driver's Licence - P2 minimum.
Willingness to meet COVID-19 vaccination requirements or hold a medical exemption.
Relevant DHS/NDIS checks and clearances, or willingness to obtain.
Current Manual Handling, Child Safe Environments Certificates, or willingness to obtain.
