We are now seeking a hands-on Operations Manager to step into a critical leadership role - effectively replacing the founder's day-to-day operational involvement and working closely with the General Manager to scale the business.

The Role
This role owns the end-to-end operational delivery of domestic and commercial projects across QLD and NSW.
You will be the technical and operational backbone of the business:
1. Supporting installers, customers and internal teams
2. Improving systems and processes, and
3. Ensuring projects are delivered correctly and on budget
Interstate site visits are not required. Projects outside your home state are managed through remote design review, documentation and installer support.

Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Technical Oversight
* Conduct technical design reviews for residential and commercial projects
* Ensure all approvals and compliance documentation are completed prior to installation
* Conduct local onsite design reviews when required
* Provide technical support to installers during delivery
* Ensure all projects are delivered to scope, quality and compliance standards
Installer & Contractor Management
* Project allocation across the installer network in QLD and NSW
* Broaden and onboard new installation partners and strengthen existing relationships
* Manage installer quality, compliance outcomes and performance
* Act as the primary escalation point for technical and delivery issues
Procurement & Logistics
* Manage stock procurement and availability based on project schedules across regions
* Liaise with suppliers and maintain relationships
Customer & After-Sales Support
* Assist with customer escalations and after-sales technical queries
* Support rectifications, warranty claims and service coordination
* Help build scalable service and maintenance workflows
Operations & Leadership
* Develop and refine efficiences across operational systems, documentation and workflows
* Support development of stronger in-house technical capability over time

About You
Essential
* Licensed Electrician
* Current SAA Solar and Battery Accreditation
Proven experience
* Hands-on experience across residential and commercial solar and battery systems
* Solid understanding of DNSP approvals, compliance and Australian standards
* Working with or managing installer/contractor networks
Highly Regarded Experience
* Operational leadership or senior technical roles
* Improving delivery systems, QA processes or documentation
* Commercial PV
* Service and maintenance workflows
Personal Attributes
* Practical, decisive and solutions-focused
* Strong and professional verbal and written skills with customers, installers and internal teams
* Detail-driven but commercially aware
