What success looks like in this role:
As a Lead Technical Engineer - Communications Services Officer (formal messaging system), you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support for Messaging desktop and server applications, ensuring real-time monitoring of message traffic through Messaging Systems.
Your duties will include:
* Message actioning and distribution, user account management, and after-hours notification.
* Provide user training in Messaging applications and manage local accounts to maintain messaging capability.
* To ensure successful coverage across all regions and time zones, you will work in 3-person shifts across 24/7.
Skills and Experience
* Proven experience in a Messaging desktop environment performing message delivery and distribution, and account administration.
* Experience with military messaging, government messaging, Microsoft Exchange, and enterprise email systems is required.
* Candidates must demonstrate comprehensive experience across any four essential messaging systems: military messaging, government messaging, Microsoft Exchange, and enterprise email systems.
* Minimum of 3 years in supporting Messaging support environment
* Candidates must currently hold NV2 AGSVA security clearance to be considered for this position.
* Candidates must be available to work rotating shifts to provide 24/7 coverage.
