CatholicCare Central Queensland – Occupational Therapist
Salary: $60 per hour plus Superannuation and generous salary packaging options. Part‐time or Full‐Time, flexible working arrangements.
The Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing community based occupational therapy interventions for a wide range of client groups, including those receiving Commonwealth Home Support Funding, National Disability Insurance Services Funding, and Private Fee for Service Clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Home‐based occupational therapy assessments covering activities of daily living, mobility, and home safety.
* Client assessment, intervention and report writing.
* Equipment applications for government equipment programs.
* Minor and major home modification recommendations with relevant diagrams.
* Communicate assessed needs clearly and precisely to clients.
Qualifications and Experience
* Relevant degree with minimum 1 year experience.
* Registered Occupational Therapist with Occupational Therapy Board and AHPRA (and ability to maintain registration).
* Current C or CA class driver's licence.
Core Competencies
* Ability to assess client needs and develop appropriate plans for interventions and equipment.
* Demonstrated experience in developing and providing reports relevant to the role.
* Ability to implement recommendations.
* Professional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to meet client needs.
