OverviewWe are looking for a talented Store person to join our team in our Geraldton branch.
This is a part time position (23 hours per week) with flexible start and finish times to suit your schedule.ResponsibilitiesFollow established procedures to receive, handle, store, perform system transactions, and dispatch goods in a factory or warehouse.Check incoming goods for damage and discrepancies.Accurately sort, label, store goods, and optimize warehouse space.Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods as per requests.Operate forklifts or other warehouse machinery.Maintain a clean and orderly work area.Report any major injury hazards and work-related incidents.Comply with Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards and use appropriate personal protective equipment.Engage in HSE training and promote safety.Follow standard work procedures and perform quality checks.Identify and control non-conforming material.Communicate effectively with team members and participate in training and improvement activities.Perform miscellaneous duties to meet business goals.QualificationsForklift license will be required post employmentWA Driver's LicenceIntermediate computer skills (MS Office – intermediate Excel) and can learn new systems and processes quicklyPrevious warehousing/stores experience preferred but not essential – on the job training available to suitable applicantsPrevious experience in a customer facing role as part of a team would be beneficialAbility to work unsupervised and commit to undertaking all work safely and efficientlyJob DetailsJob: LogisticsOrganization: Cummins Inc.Role Category: On-siteJob Type: ShopReqID: 2413390Relocation Package: Yes
