Merlot Restaurant is now looking for an Executive Chef to lead, motivate, and work hands‐on with the team, ensuring consistent high quality and a memorable food experience for all guests.

About The Role
* Develop and design seasonal menus that balance creativity and practicality, delivering high quality, impressive options.
* Manage food costs through effective menu engineering, stock and waste management.
* Collaborate with local and trusted suppliers to source the finest ingredients.
* Grow the team through ongoing coaching and development.
* Maintain a positive and supportive work culture within the team and with other hotel departments.
* Effectively manage kitchen rostering and labour costs.
About You
* Proven experience as a Head Chef, Executive Chef, or in a similar leadership role.
* Strong leadership skills, able to manage, mentor, and motivate a small team.
* Passion for quality produce and a creative approach to delivering high‐quality cuisine.
* Relevant culinary qualifications and food safety certifications.
