Overview
Trainer - Ultra Class - Greenfield Development - EXPAT FIFO. Opportunity for an experienced Ultra-Class mobile fleet Trainer to work on a landmark APAC mega project at greenfield stage, delivering and assessing training for the Mining (Open Pit) portfolio to develop workforce competence and readiness, using approved materials and methods, and ensuring accurate training records and evidence in support of VOC and RCC requirements.
Responsibilities
* Training Delivery: Deliver approved training sessions aligned to RDMC training standards and operational requirements. Prepare training materials, practical activities, and learning environments to ensure safe and effective learning. Provide coaching and feedback to learners to support skill development and safe work behaviours.
* Assessment: Conduct assessments where authorised and within the trainer's verified competence scope. For technical assessments outside the trainer's competence, coordinate SME involvement and ensure assessment evidence accurately reflects assessor input. Apply VOC requirements for high-risk activities and RCC requirements for other tasks, as applicable.
* Evidence and Records: Maintain complete and accurate training evidence including attendance, outcomes, assessment records, and supporting documentation. Submit records on time for LMS entry/validation and maintain audit-ready documentation.
* Safety and Compliance: Conduct all training activities in accordance with site safety requirements, including risk controls relevant to training environments. Stop or pause training where unsafe conditions exist and escalate issues through the Supervisor.
* Continuous Improvement: Identify gaps in materials, delivery, and learner outcomes and provide improvement suggestions. Participate in train-the-trainer activities, moderation, standardisation, and QA observations as required.
* Stakeholder Support: Liaise with operational supervisors and SMEs to align training with task requirements and site standards. Support onboarding, induction delivery, and site access training where assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
* For Highfield training delivery: Highfield Level 3 Train the Trainer (minimum).
* For all other training and assessing activities: Cert IV TAE (or equivalent) minimum.
* Relevant discipline technical qualification(s) appropriate to the Mining (Open Pit) – Load & Haul.
* Demonstrated operational experience relevant to the training portfolio.
