Job Opportunity
Our team is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to play a key role in enabling and accelerating the transition to low carbon energy solutions.
The ideal candidate will be challenged with growing the team to support delivery of our energy transition services as well as continued support of traditional energy clients.
* Preparation of mechanical engineering investigations, designs, and calculations
* Technical report writing following client and/or guidelines
* Supporting and/or leading the preparation of proposals for bids and tenders
* Client liaison including meetings and phone calls
* Liaising with peers throughout other departments, business groups, and service lines
* Providing direction and support of drafting staff
* Perform site inspections and prepare site surveillance reports
* Project manage jobs where required
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* 2-3 years of experience working as a mechanical engineer
* An interest in the energy sector and evolving options around a low carbon energy future
* Ability to collaborate across disciplines and teams to support the delivery of projects and achieve successful outcomes for clients
* Experience in engineering design, including process piping and mechanical equipment; pipelines experience is advantageous
* Experience in engineering consulting preferred but not essential
* Experience in the areas of hydrogen, chemicals, biofuels, or process plants is desirable
* Degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering
