We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science teacher to join our respected independent co-educational school in Kemps Creek for Terms 3 and 4 of 2025.
This is a full-time temporary position, perfect for a teacher who is eager to make a meaningful impact in a supportive school environment.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach Science to years 7-12, working closely with a dynamic team of educators to provide a high-quality learning experience for students.
Key Requirements:
* Qualifications and suitable experience to teach Science to years 7-12
* Demonstrated strategies to cater for a variety of learners
* Desire to work as part of the wider school team
* Flexibility to respond to a dynamic learning environment
* Evidence of a relational approach to colleagues, students, and parents
* Effective organisation and ability to fulfil administrative and assessment requirements of a teaching role
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to achieve strong academic results
* A strong understanding of and commitment to Christian education and the Christian development of students
Prerequisites:
* Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
* Tertiary Qualification (minimum 4-year degree, or 75% complete)
* Valid Working with Children Check (for employment purposes)
* Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
* 2 school-based references and one Christian church reference
