Description
We are seeking a contract Integration & Career (Job Search Strategy) Coach based in Australia to support our relocation solutions. The role involves assisting employees and their spouses/families as they settle into new cities and helping spouses/partners find employment or career opportunities in the new area.
The Coach works one-on-one with employees of our client companies who are relocating, utilizing IMPACT Group's technology and coaching methodology. The coach also supports the spouse or partner of the relocating employee with job search assistance.
This is a part-time, contract, remote position, approximately 15 hours per month.
- Establish rapport with employees and their spouses/partners, engaging them to achieve goals and training on cultural differences and expectations.
- Guide spouses/partners through the coaching process and milestones.
- Advise on career development, transition issues, and career options.
- Coach on CV/resume writing, marketing techniques, interviewing, and negotiation.
- Maintain electronic records for each employee serviced, following internal guidelines.
- Monitor progress, provide advice on integration, cross-cultural training, and address personal issues affecting careers.
Requirements:
- At least 7 years of experience coaching on job search, including resume development, interview prep, career exploration, LinkedIn profiles, networking, and negotiation.
- Experience as an expat or repat, understanding relocation challenges.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, bilingual in English/French preferred but not required.
- Ability to analyze and address relocation, transition, and cross-cultural challenges.
- Ability to build positive relationships with clients.
- Knowledge of Australian business and cultural practices.
- Currently residing and/or working in Australia.
- High-speed internet, headset with microphone required (work from home).
- Experience with international job seekers, including career continuation scenarios, is a plus.
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in human behavior, business, or related field (preferred).
- Coaching certification and training.
- Expertise in Career, Life/Integration, Business Coaching, Facilitation, and Cross-Cultural Training (ideal).
- Familiarity with Zoom & MS Teams.
- Has relocated internationally and returned to Australia.
- Fluent in English; French speaking a plus but not required.
