An established bulk‐billing practice on the far south coast of NSW is looking for a VR GP locum for a period of 6 months, to start as early as possible (or, alternatively, at latest in October‐November). Must be able to supervise an IMG. The clinic is ideally looking for long‐term commitment, so this is your opportunity to trial before committing to a permanent position.
About the Practice
* AGPAL accredited
* Bulk‐billing practice with some procedures privately billed (like cosmetic surgery, aesthetic procedures, also, some non‐rebatable procedures like PRP injections.)
* 4 doctors, 2 nurses onsite, along with a practice manager and 7 receptionists
* Onsite pathology
* Phlebotomist, podiatrist, dietician, psychologist, as well.
* A visiting specialist
* Further expansion of the medical centre is underway.
* Clinic utilises Best Practice software.
Role
This is a GP‐only role, with no need for VMO work and on‐call or after‐hours duties.
Rate of Pay
65% of billings, plus 5% for each doctor supervised (up to 85% for 4 supervised doctors) or $200/hr for initial 3 months (whichever is higher).
Incentives
* $10,000 incentive for early start and supervision

* Accommodation subsidy of $250/week
Operating Hours
* Monday‐Wednesday: 7:00am – 5:00pm
* Thursday: 7:00am – 6:00pm
* Friday: 7:00am – 5:00pm
* Saturday: 11:00am – 4:00pm
* Sunday: 9:00am – 12:30pm
* Public Holidays: 9:00am – 12:30pm
Who can apply
VR GPs with a minimum of 3 years experience, ability to supervise and have experience with skin and minor procedures.
Location
Practice is situated in a small town on the far south coast of NSW, with easy access as it is on the Princess Highway. The town is in close proximity to local airports that offer domestic flights. The local area abounds with tourist attractions, from wildlife and natural parks, to unique rock formations and hiking trails leading to an extinct volcano.
