What you'll actually do.As an Account Director, you'll be the senior heartbeat of multiple client relationships, owning strategy, leading delivery and guiding teams to do their best work. You'll sit confidently with senior clients, providing clear counsel and fresh thinking, while overseeing campaigns that are smart, culturally relevant and commercially sound. You'll lead Account Managers and Account Executives, giving them clarity, confidence and room to grow. You'll also help shape where the agency goes next, from new business and organic account growth to culture, mentoring and creative standards. Autonomous, trusted, and deeply embedded in the success of the work. Client leadership & strategyOwn senior client relationships across lifestyle, travel, F&B, luxury and beauty. Lead comms strategies from insight to execution and sell them in with confidence. Be the voice of calm, clarity and good judgement when stakes are high. Oversee timelines, budgets, resourcing and reporting with a commercial lens. Identify organic growth opportunities and turn them into real revenue. Media, influence & storytellingSet the media and influencer strategy. not just the output. Maintain strong senior‐level media and creator relationships across consumer, beauty, lifestyle and luxury titles. Ensure everything leaving the agency is sharp, smart and on‐brand. Lead high‐impact campaigns, talent partnerships and media moments. Step in personally when senior pitching or issues management is required. People & leadershipLead and develop Account Managers and Senior Account Executives. Set clear expectations, give generous feedback, and raise the bar without burning people out. Be the person people trust: for advice, perspective and support. Contribute to agency culture in a way that's felt, not forced. Culture, creativity & new businessBring ideas that make the work and the agency, better. Play a senior role in new business, from credentials to pitches. Help spot what's next in culture, media and consumer behaviour. Collaborate with Havas Village partners to deliver integrated, standout work. What you bring.7–10+ years in PR or comms agency life. You know what great looks like, how to get there, and how to bring a team with you. Proven experience leading clients and teams with confidence. Deep media and influencer knowledge across lifestyle, travel, F&B, luxury and beauty. Strategic thinking paired with hands‐on delivery instincts. Strong commercial awareness, you understand revenue, margin and resourcing. Polished writing, presentation and client‐handling skills. A degree in PR, Comms or Journalism is ideal but not essential.
