**Key Duties include**:
- Meeting the delivery timelines for the gradual rollout the new data governance tool to MedHealth data assets
- Configuration and maintenance of on-going policies, alerts and monitoring of data to ensure compliance with our Data Governance Framework and regulatory requirements for data retention
- Assist in investigating and resolving non-compliance with Data Governance controls in collaboration with Governance and Compliance team
- Act as a point of contact for data governance related enquiries from staff and other departments including responding to service desk tickets as needed
**Qualifications** To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate**:
- At least 4 years working in a similar role or one with transferable skills
- Appropriate degree and/or industry qualifications and certifications
- Understanding of data governance principles and concepts
- Knowledge of and prior experience with Microsoft Office 365 administration functionality for governance and compliance including labelling for retention and deletion and tagging for sensitivity labels
- Ability to work cross functionally with security, compliance and governance teams
- Ability to pick up new technology quickly
- Good understanding of project management to support the rollout of data governance initiatives across the business
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Proficiency in PowerShell or similar scripting
- Experience with Python programming for data analysis and processing for large data exports
**Desirable but not Essential**
- Prior health sector experience or experience in a highly regulated industry
