The Technical Integrity Officer (TIO) plays a pivotal role in ensuring the technical compliance of Joint Logistics Unit - Victoria at Puckapunyal, aligning with Defence's Land Materiel Safety Frameworks.
This challenging position requires collaboration with a diverse team consisting of Commonwealth and Industry Partners who manage maintenance and storage of military equipment and vehicles. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in a mechanical or electrical/electronic trade, coupled with experience in conducting technical audits and maintaining compliance within the Land Materiel Safety Framework.
The TIO will work closely with the Maintenance Service Provider to provide technical and regulatory advice, identify safety/environmental hazards, and contribute to Safe Method Work Statements and Risk Assessments.
A key responsibility of the TIO is assigning technical authority to Commonwealth and Industry Partner technical staff. Additionally, the incumbent will serve as a design lead for local engineering proposals and activities.
You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including the APS 6 Maintenance Manager, APS 6 Technical Integrity Manager (HQ Bandiana), Industry Partners, Site Supervisor, and manage APS 4 TIO at Puckapunyal.
