Cooking & Kitchen Skills
* Ability to cook simple, nutritious meals in bulk
* Familiarity with safe food handling and hygiene
* Knowledge of food storage and avoiding cross-contamination
* Comfortable using standard kitchen equipment (ovens, stovetops, mixers, knives)
Planning & Organisation
* Can plan a simple weekly menu based on available produce
* Able to estimate quantities for 120–150 meals and adjust recipes accordingly
* Keep track of supplies and manage a basic shopping list
* Reliable in shopping for ingredients (on a needs basis)
Resourcefulness
* Knows how to work within a budget
* Can adapt plans based on donated food or what's available at the shops
Team and People Skills
* Friendly, respectful, and works well with others (volunteers, church team, guests)
* Communicates clearly and asks for help or guidance when needed
* Flexible and calm under pressure, especially during busy times in the kitchen
