Job Description
We are currently looking for a Senior Rendering Programmer to optimise and bridge the gap between the needs of the game and those of the technical artists.
Responsibilities
* Understanding the needs of technical artists
* Implementing rendering techniques to optimise the game's graphics
* Developing and optimising graphics features (shaders, lighting, post‐processing)
* Ensuring high performance and visual quality across platforms (PC, console, mobile)
* Working closely with artists and tech teams to bring visuals to life
* Writing and maintaining custom shaders and rendering code
* Adapting visuals for cross‐platform compatibility
* Using tools such as Unreal Engine, C++, and HLSL
Qualifications
* At least 5 years of experience in programming
* Mastery of C++
* Mastery of shader languages (GLSL, HLSL, etc.)
* Graphics programming is a major asset
* Experience in game production is a major asset
* Strong experience in Unreal Engine
* Solid understanding of rendering technologies, including shaders, materials, post‐processing, and rendering pipelines
* Experience in performance optimisation and profiling across various platforms
* Strong hardware knowledge across mobile, PC, and console environments
* Excellent debugging and problem‐solving skills
* Proven ability to collaborate effectively with technical art teams and artists
* Background in games development is required
