Job Description 2 x Clinical Lead Opportunities

Deaf Connect is excited to recruit two newly established Clinical Lead positions within our Therapy and Family Services team.

These newly created leadership roles offer a unique opportunity for experienced Allied Health professionals to influence clinical practice, strengthen workforce capability, and help shape the future of service delivery across our organisation.

About these roles:

Reporting to the General Manager, Therapy and Family Services, you'll provide clinical leadership across the service, ensuring practice is safe, consistent and aligned with evidence-based standards.

As part of a new clinical leadership structure, you'll play a key role in strengthening clinical governance, supporting workforce capability and driving continuous improvement across Therapy and Family Services.

In this role, you will:

Lead the development and implementation of clinical frameworks, practice standards and models of care.

Provide expert guidance on complex clinical matters, risk management and best-practice service delivery.

Deliver clinical supervision, mentoring and support to clinicians across the service.

Strengthen workforce capability through professional development, reflective practice and clinical leadership.

Monitor clinical quality, compliance and emerging risks, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Maintain an active clinical caseload, modelling evidence-based and family-centred practice.

Build strong partnerships with families, clinicians and key stakeholders to support positive outcomes for children and families.

About you:

You are an experienced clinician who enjoys supporting others to succeed and is passionate about strengthening clinical practice across multidisciplinary teams.

To be successful, you will have:

Allied Health qualification and professional registration (or eligibility)

Significant clinical experience working with complex presentations

Clinical supervision, mentoring or leadership experience

Strong knowledge of clinical governance and risk management

Experience within NDIS and/or government-funded service environments

Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and clinical reasoning skill

It would be great if you also bring:

Experience developing clinical frameworks, models of care or practice standards

Understanding of Deaf culture, Auslan and culturally responsive practice
