What You Will Be Doing:
Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing obstacles, setting up safety barriers and signage, and maintaining a clean, organised work area.
Load and unload construction materials, machinery, and equipment; ensure tools and materials are stored and handled properly.
Support ground preparation tasks, including trenching, excavation, and soil compaction.
Provide hands-on support to skilled trades (e.g., operators, concreters, carpenters).
Operate basic tools and machinery under supervision (e.g., jackhammers, compactors, power drills).
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures to ensure a safe setting for all workers.
Collaborate with traffic control teams to maintain protected traffic flow and protect active work zones.
Follow environmental management plans, including waste disposal and dust control.
