Role
The Warehouse Officer, position is important in maintaining the seamless operation of our warehouse department. You will collaborate closely with your team, management, and other departments to achieve operational excellence and ensure on-time delivery to our customers. Your specific responsibilities include coordinating warehouse activities, ensuring accurate stock levels and efficient storage, as well as assisting in the loading and unloading of goods for timely dispatch.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in ensuring up-to-date records of goods within the store.
* Assist in ensuring stock inventory is processed accurately & report discrepancies.
* Assist in receipt & storage of goods, for security, & dispatch of orders.
* Ensure stock is clearly identified & maintained in the correct locations.
* Understand the needs of other departments whilst following QA processes.
* Serve & assist customers, courier drivers & other employees with a high degree of professionalism.
* Support the issue of goods to authorised persons & the completion of documentation & records involved.
* Support the transfer of goods to & from the warehouse.
* Load & unload customer, courier & freight company vehicles safely.
* Pick & check orders to a high degree of accuracy to minimise loss.
* Physically locate stock securely & safely.
* Container unloading
* Forklift Driving
License:
* Driver's license & Forklift license, essential.
