This is a fantastic opportunity for you to join a reputable organisation as Accountant – ANZ. Reporting to the Finance Director -APAC. Covering Accounting, Compliance, Reporting and Administration functions with a focus on providing high‐quality and accurate information to stakeholders. This role allows you to develop your Leadership skills managing a direct report.
This role includes:
* Preparation of monthly management reports, journals, reconciliations and variance analysis;
* Ensuring compliance with local and Group accounting standards and regulations;
* Preparation of indirect tax obligations and assisting external advisors;
* Leading the response for external and internal audit requirements, maintaining accuracy and integrity of financial data and processes;
* Preparation of statutory obligations including statutory financial statements;
* Assisting with forecasting, budgeting and cash‐flow management process; and
* Driving improvement of system processes with aim to improve both operational effectiveness & efficiency.
* Leading the broader Finance Administration requirements including liaising with Support Functions such as HR, Payroll, AP and AR
* Providing insight and guidance to Sales and Operations Teams on Finance related processes
What you bring:
* Experience working in a multi‐site organisation.
* Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulations
* Positive and self‐motivated with proven ability to prioritise and work autonomously
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience using SAP or a similar ERP and strong skills in Excel would be highly regarded.
* Ability to work in changing environments with demonstrated resilience.
