About the role This permanent part-time position based in Burwood involves providing assistance with activities of daily living and contributing to the development, implementation, and review of Individual Plans.
The role supports four males who have a range of disabilities and complexities and at times, will require you to work alone both in the home and in the community.
The successful candidate will have previous experience working with behaviours of concern and a strong understanding of behaviour support plans in order to help the people we support live their best lives.

Roster Split is 57:00/57:00 Key responsibilities: Follow person-centred support and behaviour plans Facilitate client goal achievement through meaningful activities Maintain thorough record keeping Build positive relationships with clients, families and colleagues Advocate for client choice and control Skills Experience Experience with behaviours of concern and behaviour support plans A commitment to supporting and promoting the individual needs, skills, abilities and personal goals of people with disabilities.
The ability to develop a positive relationship with clients and to support their Individual Personal Plan.
A current Senior First Aid (level 2) Certificate.
Cert IV in Disability or similar A current unrestricted Driver Licence Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check and an International Criminal History Record Check; if you have resided for 12 months or more outside of Australia in the last 10 years.
