Perigon Group are partnering with a multi-entity organisation based in Brisbane, undergoing a project and seeking an experienced contractor to step in and support BAU through a busy period.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, navigating complex structures and managing detailed, hands-on accounting tasks.
The Opportunity
Joining a well-established finance team, you'll take ownership of a range of accounting duties while the business completes a significant internal project. You'll work across multiple entities and support accurate, timely financial outcomes in a highly manual environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Costing and cost allocations across multiple business units
* Intercompany and intracompany reconciliations and journals
* Month-end support including balance sheet reconciliations
* Maintaining manual accounting processes during a system-heavy project period
* Supporting ad hoc analysis and clean-up work as required
* Partnering with finance and operational teams to ensure data integrity and smooth BAU processes
About You
* Tertiary degree in Finance or Accounting and ideally CPA/CA
* Proven experience in complex, multi-entity organisation
* Strong costing and intercompany accounting skills
* Comfortable working in manual environments
* Strong Excel skills
* Able to hit the ground running in a contract role
* Strong communication and stakeholder skills
