About Us
MCD Construction is an award-winning, family-owned company operating in South East Queensland, specialising in custom luxury homes and boutique commercial projects. We are known for our high standards, detailed craftsmanship, and passion for creating beautiful spaces.
With a strong pipeline of work, we are looking to welcome an experienced Carpenter to our professional and supportive team.
The Role
You will be working across a range of exciting projects, including architecturally designed homes, large-scale renovations, and hospitality/commercial fit-outs.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform all aspects of residential and commercial carpentry
* Read and interpret construction plans and specifications
* Maintain high standards of workmanship and site presentation
* Follow safety protocols and contribute to a positive site culture
What We're Looking For
-Trade-qualified Carpenter (completed apprenticeship)
-Strong construction knowledge and attention to detail
-Ability to read and follow plans and drawings
-Experience in custom home builds and/or hospitality fit-outs (preferred)
-Full set of tools
-Current Driver's Licence and own reliable vehicle
-Appropriate trade insurances
-Strong communication skills, punctuality, and professionalism
-Physically fit and capable of hands-on work
Must be an Australian citizen to be eligible for this position
Minimum 5+ years of carpentry experience required
