They are seeking a self-motivated and confident Credit Officer to join their large credit department providing exceptional service both internally and externally.
The Position
Reporting to the Credit Manager you will be responsible for:
Distributing invoices, banking, receipting, processing of payments
Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries
Perform credit checks on new account applicants for approval
Investigating and processing customer claims and returns
Responding to customer queries in a timely and professional manner
Maintaining accounts receivable files and records
Processing and setting up one-time and recurring credit card payments
Month end reporting
General filing, Scanning documents, data entry, faxing, and photocopying.
Previous experience in either accounts receivable or credit/collections
Experience with large ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or JDE & Excel
Excellent attention to detail
Strong time management and organisational skills
A passion for delivering exceptional customer service
