You will lead the finance function for Power and Network Services, a substantial portfolio within one of our largest divisions. This role will be based out of our Clayton office.
About the role
You will drive financial and commercial outcomes with an emphasis on profit delivery and strong cashflow generation, whilst ensuring the business unit operates in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
Key responsibilities:
* Overseeing the preparation, analysis and reporting of financial results and forecasts.
* Developing and preparing insightful financial information and appropriate tools to drive improvements in profitability, cashflow performance and future growth.
* Supporting the preparation and presentation of the business unit annual budget.
* Proactively managing the balance sheet, ensuring efficient use of working capital and supporting a strong return on capital.
* Providing strong financial leadership, advice and support to business unit and sector leads.
* Supporting the implementation of SAP S/4 Hana system by working with key stakeholders and supporting the adaption within the business unit.
* Participating in the review of pricing submissions for contracts, tenders and new business opportunities as required.
About you
Our ideal candidate will enjoy providing hands‐on support, whilst also providing strong financial leadership and influence.
You will also have:
* Experience operating at mid‐senior management level within a service delivery organisation.
* Exposure to construction, project‐based or infrastructure environments would be beneficial but not essential.
* Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills to positively influence staff, clients, management, and broader business stakeholder groups.
* Experience within a company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) is highly desirable.
* Finance or accountancy‐based tertiary qualification.
* CPA or CA.
