We are seeking an experienced Customer Services Officer who enjoys a busy and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a hard worker, purpose-driven, eager to learn, agile, flexible, and values a positive workplace culture with great colleagues.
Reporting to the General Manager South Australia and supervised by the Team Leader, you will support medical specialists by ensuring smooth booking of appointments, submission of paperwork, and providing accurate booking advice. You will coordinate appointment arrangements with our extensive specialist consultant team. REF8315L
Job Description
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
* Liaising with specialists to manage appointments and troubleshoot as needed
* Assisting customers in booking the appropriate specialist for each case
* Scheduling appointments
* Managing busy inboxes with queries and service requests
* Providing excellent communication over the phone and email to customers and practitioners
* Communicating information and advice clearly to customers
* Performing additional tasks such as administrative duties, reception, and chaperoning
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you will have:
* Experience as a claims officer or case manager with an insurer, rehabilitation provider, or claims agent
* Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service with a positive attitude
* Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* An enthusiastic, friendly, and helpful approach
* Strong prioritization skills with flexibility
* Attention to detail
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel)
