Job Description:
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team within the JORN project. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems and equipment in accordance with contractual and company requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Development and Review of Electrical Engineering Design Documentation
* Progression and Management of Electrical Engineering Projects from Inception to Incorporation
* Electrical Engineering Technical Projects Include:
1. High Voltage System Design
2. Low Voltage System Design
3. Hazardous Areas Assessment and Design
4. Programmable Logic Controller Program and Design
5. Instrumentation and Control Design
6. EMI Testing
7. Generator Control System Design
8. Solar and Battery Energy Storage Systems Design
9. Site Electrical Assessments
10. Earthing System Design and Testing
11. Condition Based Monitoring
12. Arc Flash Assessments
13. UPS Design
14. Management and Co-ordination of External Design Projects
15. Development of Labour and Material Estimates (BOE)
16. Development of strong relationships with site based and ADHOC project teams
Requirements:
* Tertiary Qualifications in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
* Background in defence practices highly desired
* Understanding of requirements analysis, design, verification and other systems engineering principles
* Background working in a Technical Regulatory Framework (e.g. TAMM, TRAMM, NTRF)
* Experience developing detailed engineering work packages
* Background working in classified environments
