Description
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for and not limited to:
* Prepare financial statements for 8 entities
* Integration activities: Migration of acquired entities into the Group Structure
* Prepare and analyse financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Support budgeting and forecasting processes to assist in strategic planning.
* Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
* Coordinate and assist with external audits and tax reporting requirements.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes where necessary.
* Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff.
* Collaborate with internal departments to deliver financial insights and recommendations.
Profile
A successful Senior Accountant should have:
* Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field.
* Strong technical accounting skills and a sound understanding of financial principles.
* Proficiency in accounting software and tools.
* CA/CPA Qualification
* Large Corporate, Audit or Business Services background preferred
* Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
* Strong communication skills to liaise with team members and stakeholders.
* A proactive mindset with the ability to identify and solve problems.
