What You'll Be Doing
The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) is an expert nurse who will provide leadership, advice and recommendations on all aspects of nursing and consults on matters relating to the safe and appropriate use of nursing practices.
The CNC will formulate and implement policy, guide practice development, and engage in education and research activities across all Far West Mental Health Drug and Alcohol services.

How To Apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible:
* Registered with Authority to Practice with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. Minimum five years full time post graduate experience with 3 years full time equivalent in the specialty field. In addition, the applicant must have an approved post graduate qualification (minimum Grad Diploma/Certificate level) or evidence of working towards Master's level qualification.
* Demonstrated problem solving, decision making and leadership skills, and an ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework.
* Demonstrated experience in the facilitation of education programs and formalised clinical supervision.
* Demonstrated ability to utilise a broad range of communication, facilitation and negotiation skills in a wide variety of settings, including the ability to access data information systems and generate quality reports.
* Demonstrated ability to undertake quality improvement and research activities that influence and enhance clinical practice and implement change.
* Demonstrated computer skills with experience using MS Office programs and electronic filing and patient systems.
