Our client seeks a Supply Quality Surveillance Coordinator to join their team in Perth.
BP is transforming its former oil refinery in Kwinana to an integrated energy hub, where it plans to produce biofuels and renewable hydrogen. What you’ll do
You will play a key role providing oversight and support to SQS activities consistent with criticality assessments and contractual and regulatory obligations. Individuals provide support to procured packages they are assigned to ensuring that surveillance is completed in accordance technical and client specifications, codes and standards.
The role responsibilities include:
1. Notify Project Site stakeholders of quality concerns that may result in the issuance of a non-conformance report or other poor quality performance issues associated with the supplier.
2. Sign and date as applicable on the client / project approved Suppliers Inspection and Test Plan signifying verification and completion of specified activities with relevant inspection codes.
3. Timely issuance of detailed supplier quality surveillance inspection and status reports. Reports are to include detailed and current information related to expected completion dates; engineering, fabrication, and material status; inspection activities; and quality concerns related to each P.O. item tag number.
4. Document supplier non-conformance to requirements by completing a detailed Action Item List form, and/or issuance of Non-Conformance Report.
5. Review of quality surveillance documents and informing the Project Supplier Quality Surveillance Coordinator if there are any issues with documents as issued.
6. Perform audits of the Supplier Quality Surveillance Inspectors for compliance to the requirements of the assignment packages, Quality System Manual, and the latest SOP.
7. Provide assistance and guidance to the Supplier Quality Surveillance Inspectors where deficiencies have been identified.
8. Assist and perform personnel interviews and audits of third party and contract personnel prior to supplier quality surveillance inspector resource selection.
9. Schedule and conduct Pre-Inspection Meetings, as established by Client criticality ratings and the client / project approved Suppliers Inspection and Test Plan.
10. Perform random audits of E&I SQS Inspectors to ensure that they maintain, complete, and return the Inspection Assignment Folder with the client / project approved Suppliers Inspection and Test Plan off to the Project Supplier Quality Surveillance Coordinator.

13. Strong knowledge of SQS and QA/QC activities
14. Strong communication and problem-solving skills
15. Deep analytical and financial skills.?

17. Strong knowledge of supply chain principles and logistics processes
18. Knowledge of SQS best practices
