Job Role
As a senior network specialist, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing the organisation's secure network infrastructure across remote areas.
You will align all network architecture with organisational guidance and best practices.
The role includes troubleshooting complex connectivity issues, implementing security controls and monitoring network performance.
Working collaboratively with stakeholders, you will ensure that all work supports organisational standards while contributing to a robust network foundation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Designing and implementing secure network infrastructure across remote areas.
* Aligning network architecture with organisational guidance and best practices.
* Troubleshooting complex connectivity issues and implementing security controls.
* Ensuring compliance with organisational standards in network operations.
Required Expertise:
* Implementing WAN/LAN environments including MPLS, VPLS, SD-WAN, VLANs, and VPNs.
* Administering core network protocols such as BGP, OSPF, DNS, and DHCP.
* Deploying and maintaining advanced security solutions including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and network segmentation.
* Proficient with Cisco technologies across firewalls, routers, switches, ISE, and DNAC.
* Industry-recognised certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, or CCNA.
