Casual Sales Assistant – Autosmart NT
We’re on the lookout for a friendly, reliable Sales Assistant to join the team at Autosmart NT.
This is a casual role – around 15–25 hours per week, with the opportunity for more during busy periods or when covering staff leave.
Our ideal candidate would be someone who’s flexible and happy to work different days or extra hours when needed.
What you’ll be doing:
* Answering customer phone calls and emails
* Taking and processing orders
* Assisting with picking and packing customer orders
* Helping in the shop and warehouse - wherever needed to keep things running smoothly
* Occasional local deliveries (so a current driver's licence is essential)
About you:
We’re not after a specific background – if you’re a quick learner with a good attitude, we’d love to hear from you.
We’re looking for someone who:
* Is friendly and confident talking to customers
* Is organised and able to manage multiple tasks
* Works well independently and as part of a small team
* Can lift up to 20kg and isn’t afraid to get hands-on
* Has a valid driver’s licence
* Has or willing to obtain forklift license
* Is flexible and available to work different days/hours as needed
* Experience or interest in car care/detailing is a bonus, but not required – full training provided
* You’ll also need to be confident using a computer, as basic tasks like processing sales, checking stock, and responding to emails are part of the role.
