Belong at Home is seeking an enthusiastic, high performing, motivated and solutions focused person to join our Finance team, Monday to Wednesday, part time (45 hours a fortnight) in Bunbury at our Corporate Office.

Belong at Home is a highly respected not-for-profit local organisation providing a range of services to aged people and their carers throughout the "south west" with branches in Bunbury, Busselton, Margaret River, Collie, Donnybrook and Bridgetown.

Key Responsibilities

* Accurately process and submit claims within required timeframes, ensuring compliance with Support at Home funding guidelines, legislative requirements and organisational policies.
* Monitor, investigate and resolve rejected or adjusted claims, maintaining audit readiness and implementing corrective actions to ensure ongoing compliance.
* Review and validate service delivery data to ensure claims are complete, accurate and supported by appropriate documentation across all systems.
* Fortnightly extraction and processing of payroll data reviewing reports for changes across six sites, including reconciliation & month end. Salary sacrifice reports reconciled and submitted to provider as part of the payroll process.
* Identify, investigate and resolve discrepancies between scheduled services, delivered services, funding and billing records, performing regular reconciliations to maintain data integrity.
* Maintain effective cross team relationships and contribute to reporting requirements.
* Identify and support improvements to claiming accuracy, processes and systems including documentation updates and audit participation.

Skills & Experience

* Minimum 2+ years' experience in payroll and/or claims processing.
* Excellent communication skills, an empathetic attitude and an understanding of older people, and be solution focused.
* Qualification in finance, accounting or bookkeeping is required.
* Ability to follow and propose improvements to processes and procedures.
* High attention to detail with integrity & confidentiality.
* Strong 'people' skills and dedicated team player.
* Passionate about the community with a positive attitude.
* Proficient in using payroll software - ideally experienced in using Employment Hero payroll software.
* Knowledge and understanding of the Social, Community, Home Care & Disability Services Award highly desirable.
* A police clearance certificate is essential with annual flu vaccination.
* Salary packaging up to $15,900 per annum.
