Asset Construction Hire is looking to employ a Yard Supervisor on a full-time basis.
Established in 2011, Asset Construction Hire has grown into a company with over 600 elevated work platforms, plant machinery, and a wide variety of other rental equipment. Primarily, we support the Canberra construction industry and general trades that require working at height. We are an independent and locally owned business based in Fyshwick. A valid Drivers License is essential.
Must be an Australian resident.
The successful applicant must possess or be willing to obtain a White Card and Asbestos Awareness Certificate.
A forklift and EWP ticket would be an advantage.
Tasks & Responsibilities -
* Function testing equipment
* Moving equipment around the yard
* Operating forklift
* Loading & unloading trucks
* Assisting with equipment allocations
* Refuelling equipment
* Delegation of tasks to other Yard Persons and Trades Assistants
* Monitoring the wash bay and staff
* Stocktakes
* Audit maintenance and repair requests
* Order consumables
* General cleaning and area maintenance
