Senior Business Development Representative | Outbound B2B - High Commissions!

At Nexgen Australia, we partner with global leaders such as Cisco to deliver premium telecommunications, AI-enabled solutions, and business technology to SMEs across Australia.

We are seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) with proven outbound B2B experience to secure high-quality, sales-ready appointments for our Business Development Managers.

This is a pure outbound role and is not entry-level.

* Outbound B2B calling to SME decision-makers (cold, warm & targeted prospecting)
* Qualifying opportunities across telco, hardware, AI, print, and security solutions
* Identifying genuine commercial need, authority, timing, and intent
* Securing commitment and booking sales-ready appointments
* Objection handling and progressing prospects to next steps
* Maintaining CRM accuracy and appointment quality standards
* Consistently achieving KPIs for appointments booked, show rates, and conversions
* Competitive Base salary (OTE $120k +++)
* Uncapped commission
* Up to $600 commission per appointment that converts into a sale
* Commission earned from day one
* 30%+ average appointment-to-sale conversion by our BDM team
* Strict re-qualification checks ensure every appointment has a strong chance of signing
* Proven experience in outbound B2B appointment setting / telemarketing / sales (non-negotiable)
* Track record of booking qualified appointments that convert
* Strong commercial questioning and qualification skills
* Confident, professional phone presence with SME decision-makers
* Resilient, self-motivated, and results-driven
* Quality SME data provided via CRM (plus external prospecting)
* Structured onboarding and full induction training
* Clear qualification frameworks and handover standards
* Weekly team refresher sessions
* Ongoing 1:1 coaching and performance support
* Full-time, in-office role based in Parramatta
* High-performance culture — work hard, play harder
* Early finishes when results are exceeded
* Friday drinks, team events, awards, and overseas trips for top performers
