Working with a group of like minded people, we are looking to add to our growing company with experienced Switchboard / Panel Building Technicians.
Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor/Manager, you will take a hands‑on role assembling, wiring, testing, and occasionally commissioning custom‑built switchboards and panels.
Key Responsibilities
* Assemble, wire, and test LV switchboards, distribution boards, PLCs, VSDs, MCCs and control panels.
* Read and interpret electrical schematics, single line diagrams and GA drawings.
* Complete high‑quality wiring, terminations, and copper busbar installation.
* Conduct equipment testing, fault‑finding and documentation to Australian Standards.
* Work with engineering and design teams to resolve technical queries.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment.
* Support team and management to meet project deadlines.
* HV Switchboard building experience would be advantageous but not essential.
Key Requirements
* Proven experience in switchboard/panel building
* A-Grade WA Electrical Licence (desirable; essential for some roles)
* Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
* High attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
* Self‑driven with ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
* Valid WA driver's licence and reliable transport
* Strong troubleshooting, testing, and problem‑solving skills
* Forklift licence – advantageous
