The Role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Construction Cadet to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry while working on diverse, high-quality projects across Sydney. As a Construction Cadet, you will work closely with the director, learning the ins and outs of building, site supervision, and client engagement.
Responsibilities
* Assist in project planning, coordination, and execution for renovations, new builds, duplexes, townhouses, and multi-unit dwellings
* Support site supervisors with day-to-day operations, including quality control and safety compliance
* Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
* Participate in client meetings to understand project requirements and provide updates
* Learn and apply modern construction techniques and industry best practices
* Assist with documentation, including project reports, schedules, and budgets
* Support in delivery on site
What We're Looking For
* A passion for construction and a desire to build a career in the industry
* Current enrollment in or recent completion of a relevant qualification (Certificate IV or Diploma in Building and Construction, or equivalent)
* Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
* A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
* Basic understanding of construction processes and safety regulations
* Valid driver's license and access to reliable transport
