Fresh Food Market in Rooty Hill is seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to lead our store operations and drive strong performance across sales, staff, and customer service.This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced fresh food and grocery environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily store operations including staff supervision, customer service, and inventory controlLead, train, roster, and manage a team of retail staffMonitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishmentEnsure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standardsImplement merchandising strategies to improve product presentation and salesManage budgets, analyse sales data, and prepare performance reportsHandle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionallySupport promotional activities and local marketing initiativesMaintain compliance with company policies and retail regulations
Minimum Qualifications:Diploma of Business or higher, or a relevant work experience.At least 2 years of experience in a sales and retail management role.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Proven ability to drive sales and manage budgets effectively.Knowledge of retail operations and best practices.Proficiency in inventory management and POS systems
